In his NewCo Presentation, Kimbal Musk will discuss his mission to create community through food across America by building Learning Gardens. Learning Gardens are catalysts for community-wide behavioral improvements in childhood nutrition, socialization, and student achievement in underserved neighborhoods across the country. Attendees will learn how The Kitchen Community, a three year old non-profit organization, has been able to reach over 100,000 children across America by building over 180 Learning Gardens so far in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles and how we plan to double our impact by 2016.
